Moonlight Presents to Welcome Susan Egan in January
A number of firsts are occurring as the City of Vista's Moonlight Amphitheatre raises the curtain on a new era beginning in January. The Amphitheatre's new performing arts program, Moonlight Presents, offers its first series, Moonlight Cabaret, and at the same time inaugurates its new performance space: ClubM. For one night only, on Friday, Jan. 15 at 8 pm, Moonlight Presents offers a sold-out performance of Susan Egan: The Real Housewife of Broadway.
Paul O'Dette's ¡JACARAS! Inaugurates New GEMAS Concert Series at Americas Society Tonight, 11/9
Gotham Early Music Scene (GEMS), as part of its milestone Fifth Anniversary celebration, announces "GEMAS," a new series of early music concerts in collaboration with the Americas Society featuring the early music of the Americas. The series will be co-directed by Americas Society Music Director Sebastian Zubieta and the celebrated soprano Nell Snaidas. The opening concert, by lutenist Paul O'Dette, will be performed tonight, November 9, 7:00 p.m., at Americas Society, 680 Park Avenue (between 68th and 69th Streets). This concert is part of Carnegie Hall's "Voices from Latin America" series this fall, which partners with outside organizations for performances in venues throughout the city.
Mun2 Selects Winner of REVENTON VJ Search
mun2, the leading bicultural cable network has announced the selected participant of its "El Mero Mero Reventonero" guest VJ audition. Francisco Manuel Alvarez of Chicago, Illinois, will join current host Yarel Ramos, starting October 18th on the mun2 weekly regional Mexican music and lifestyle series, "Reventon".
