Actor, Dancer, Singer, Choreographer, Director, Teacher.
Education: NYU Tisch Dance MFA; UC Irvine Dance BA, Digital Arts Minor; Los Angeles County High School for the Arts - Dance Major and Musical Theatre Ensemble.
Faculty of the Musical Theatre Program at Marymount Manhattan College
As a performer, career highlights include: Dance Captain for FOLLIES (Astoria Performing Arts Center), dancing at the Metropolitan Opera (ORFEO ED EURIDICE, directed by Mark Morris), originating the role of Fairy False in Pan Asian Rep’s A DREAM OF RED PAVILIONS (off-Broadway), Ariel in Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST. She performed for Taiwan's president Tsai, Ing-Wen on her NYC tour.
Mandarin's choreography credits include off-off-Broadway production ROMANCE OF THE WESTERN CHAMBER, full production of LEGALLY BLONDE (Music Dept. National ChiaYi University, Taiwan), and the NYC choreography lab and readings of EASTBOUND (NY Theatre Barn). She has also directed readings: HELEN (Buburuzan/Lei) and TROPICAL ANGELS (Lin / Lei) in Taiwan.
