Dance/NYC Announces Recipients Of Disability. Dance. Artistry. Dance And Social Justice Fellowship Program

The dance service organization Dance/NYC is pleased to announce the 26 recipients of the Disability. Dance. Artistry. Dance and Social Justice Fellowship Program made possible by the generous support of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund and the Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation with additional support from the New York Community Trust.
2018 Conference Highlights Arts Partnerships For Diverse Learning Needs

As part of National Arts-in-Education Week, the Houston Arts Partners Conference will be held on Sept. 14 and 15, 2018, at the Klein Multipurpose Center. Through this annual arts-in-education conference, public school districts and Houston's outstanding arts organizations provide arts advocacy tools and arts integration strategies to K-12 educators, district leaders, teaching artists, and parents.

Nearly 700 people enjoyed a wonderful evening of poetry, art and music as students who are blind or visually impaired from Lighthouse Guild's Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School performed in concert at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday, April 28.

Audiences will have two opportunities over the festival to capture the works of FLICfest's 2015 choreographers Jun Ju Song-Begin, CatScratch Theater, Mana Hashimoto, Nicole Wolcott, Andre Zachary and John Zullo.
Pan Asian Repertory Theatre to Present NUWORKS, 6/10-15

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, led by Tisa Chang, Artistic Producing Director, continues its commitment to artists creating new work that explores different genres and techniques during an expanded NuWorks series, which runs June 10-15 at the Studio Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd Street).
