Tarragon Reveals Lisa Li As Incoming Executive Director
Tarragon Theatre has announced Lisa Li as its new Executive Director. Making the return to Toronto from Winnipeg, Lisa Li begins at Tarragon June 24, 2024, working through the transition with Artistic Director Mike Payette and outgoing Managing Director Andrea Vagianos.

How do we trust what we see or feel? How do we know which voices are truly our own? THE THEATRE CENTRE and THE ECT COLLECTIVE are proud to Co-produce HERE ARE THE FRAGMENTS., an immersive work of theatre written by Suvendrini Lena, Theatre Centre Residency artist and CAMH Neurologist. Based on the psychiatric writing of famed political theorist Frantz Fanon and combining narratives, sensory exploration, and scientific and historical analysis, HERE ARE THE FRAGMENTS. reflects on the relationships between identity, history, racism, and mental health. FRAGMENTS. will run November 19 to December 1 at The Theatre Centre (Opening Night November 21).
2019 Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award Recipient Is Announced
PACT is pleased to present the annual Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award to its former board member, and Executive Director of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre Camilla Holland. 2017 Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award Winner Announced!
The Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) is pleased to present the annual Mallory Gilbert Leadership Award to multi-award winning producer, presenter, playwright, director, designer and arts advocate Michele Decottignies. The award was presented at the annual PACT Conference in Charlottetown, PE. Michele was chosen from a list of seven nominees from across Canada and chose Olivia Marie Golosky as her protege.

The Blyth Festival proudly presents the world premiere of The Wilberforce Hotel by Sean Dixon. Directed by Philip Akin, The Wilberforce Hotel is on stage at Blyth Memorial Hall from July 1 to August 8. The Wilberforce Hotel is loosely based on the autobiography of Austin Steward; 22 Years a Slave, 40 Years a Freeman.
