Casting and Cameo Groups Announced for Free Public Works' Musical Adaptation of THE WINTER'S TALE
Following last year's acclaimed Public Works production of The Tempest, The Public Theater will continue this community-based initiative this September with a free original musical adaptation of Shakespeare's THE WINTER'S TALE. Featuring more than 200 New Yorkers from all five boroughs performing alongside professional actors and The Public's community partners, Public Works' THE WINTER'S TALE will run for three nights only, September 5-7, at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Free tickets will be distributed, two per person, at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the show at the Delacorte Theater and via the Virtual Ticketing lottery at www.publictheater.org.
'The Bachlorette' Continues International Growth with Addition of Indian Version
Hit reality series “The Bachelor” continues to be a global phenomenon, with Warner Bros. International Television Production announcing a new version of “The Bachelorette” in India – a territory which has never before produced the show. This brings the total number of territories to license the Bachelor franchise to 26.

The star-studded black tie Multicultural Motion Picture Association's 16th Annual Diversity Awards - 'Celebrating Diversity - American Spirit And Global Talent - Making Happen!' honoring artists for their exceptional achievements in film and television, was held on Sunday evening, November 23, 2008 in the Globe Theatre at Universal Studios Hollywood. Prior to the Awards Show, a Celebrity VIP Silent Auction and Reception was held.
