Mairys is a bilingual Latinx actor, singer, and voiceover actor from Brooklyn, NY. She Is currently on the national tour of A Bronx Tale (Denise; Jane u/s). Mairys has performed in Hairspray (Dynamite), The Mercy Seat (Abby), The Schoolhouse Rock (Dina), Barcode (Dorna), and Aida (Aida). Mairys has an MS in Special Education from CUNY Hunter College and BA in Journalism from Penn State University. She is married to Nick and currently resides in Bushwick, NY.

If you like your coming-of-age-on-the-mean-streets stories served with an extra side of red sauce, then Chazz Palminteri's semi-autobiographical A BRONX TALE is for you. Featuring characters with names like Rudy the Voice, Eddie Mush, Jojo the Whale and Frankie Coffeecake, this musical adaptation of Palminteri's acclaimed movie, later made into a one-man Broadway play in which Palminteri also starred, pits the young Calogero (Trey Murphy) in a tug of war between his upstanding blue collar Dad, Lorenzo (American Idol winner Nick Fradiani), and the flashy mob boss Sonny (Jeff Brooks) whom the newly dubbed a?oeCa?? idolizes.

Casting Announced for JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT At Axelrod PAC
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center added an extra show this season-Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat-for beachgoing theatergoers on the Jersey Shore. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's first collaboration, which has had many lives over its fifty years, has been reimagined by director-choreographer Matthew Steffens and musical directorconductor Andrew Sotomayor. "So much of the score is iconic, but we had a tremendous desire to freshen it up, so we have voices and orchestrated the production so this is a one-of-a-kind production just for the Axelrod," says Steffens.
