Music Returns To Wang Theatre Stage As The Boch Center Announces GHOST LIGHT SERIES
The Boch Center is launching the Ghost Light Series, a live music program filmed onstage at the Wang Theatre. Set to air on New England's Connection (NECN), the series will showcase critically acclaimed artists including Keb' Mo', Lori McKenna, The Mammals, Tom Rush, Noel Paul Stookey, Jonathan Edwards, and more. The Ghost Light Series will premiere Friday, September 25 at 7:30 PM and air every other week in the same time slot.
World Premiere of ANOTHER MOTHER Will Open at Park Theatre
The world premiere of the anarchic comedy Another Mother, created by Selina Cadell and written by Justine Mitchell, will open at Park Theatre for a strictly limited season from 10 June - 11 July 2020. The production runs in Park200.
Casting Announced For The Beauty Queen Of Leenane
Full casting has been announced for Martin McDonagh's (In Bruges, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) The Beauty Queen of Leenane, co-produced by Queen's Theatre Hornchurch and Hull Truck Theatre. This is the second co-production between Queen's Theatre Hornchurch and Hull Truck Theatre, after the landmark revival of The Hired Man in Spring 2019. This pitch-black comedy, which has been described by The New York Times as 'sharp, sinister jewel of a play', opens at Hull Truck Theatre from 3 - 26 October, then transfers to Queen's Theatre Hornchurch from 30 October - 16 November.

FLIES! THE MUSICAL! Extends Through June 16
The Jeff-recommended World Premiere production of FLIES! THE MUSICAL has been extended for one additional weekend, due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to close on June 10, the new musical by bookwriter/lyricist Larry Todd Cousineau and composer Cindy O'Connor will play three additional performances - on Thursday June 14 and Friday, June 15 - and closing Saturday, June 16, all with curtain times of 7:30 pm. The Thursday, June 14 performance is pay-what-you-can for theatre industry members and returning audiences. The musical is performed in The Broadway, Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway.

English Touring Theatre Announces Casting Update for SILVER LINING
English Touring Theatre today announces a casting update for the world premiere of Sandi Toksvig's new comedy Silver Lining, a co-production with Rose Theatre Kingston. Sheila Reid plays Gloria, with Rachel Davies as Maureen, Keziah Joseph as Hope, Maggie McCarthy as May, Joanna Munro as June and Amanda Walker as St Michael in the production directed by Rebecca Gatward. It opens at Rose Theatre Kingston on 8 February, before touring to Portsmouth, Oxford, Cambridge, Ipswich, Keswick, York and Salford.
