Gingold Theatrical Group's 2023 Golden Shamrock Gala was held on Sunday October 29 at 6pm at Robert Restaurant. The evening honored humanitarian activists Dr. Wilma Bulkin Siegel, M.D.; Dr. Brian R. Saltzman, M.D.; and Ethan E. Litwin, all tireless supporters of human rights and the arts in New York, with the Golden Shamrock Award.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) today announced that Ed Dixon, Jeff Harnar, Christine Pedi, Jon Weber, Aaron Weinstein, Lauren Worsham, and Karen Ziemba would join the next presentation of Project Shaw. The 13th season continued on April 30th with SHAW SONGS, a festive cabaret evening of songs that George Bernard Shaw played, sang, and enjoyed (1856-1950). Marcia Milgrom Dodge directs with Paul Staroba serving as Musical Director.

Heartbreak House, one of Shaw most admired of curious comedies, is packed full of extraordinary roles. Each member of the cast gets to take a bite out of this rarely produced and provocative piece. Set just before WWI, the action of the play takes place in and around the Shotover home, built like a ship on top of a hill on the English countryside. In the course of the play, everyone learns to face the future, however tumultuous it may be.

Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW, under the leadership of Artistic Director, David Staller, presented George Bernard Shaw's 1895 comedy, Candida, yesterday, November 25, at Symphony Space's Leonard NimoyThalia Theatre (2895 Broadway at 95th St.). Directed by David Staller, Candida featured Tony Award nominees Judy Kuhn (Candida) and Douglas Sills (Morell), with Brandon J. Vukovic (a recent Brown/Trinity grad) as Marchbanks, Alison Cimmet (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) as Prossy, Bill Kux (The Trip to Bountiful) as Burgess, Jordan Coughtry (Shakespeare Theatre of NJ Our Town) as Lexy. RunningSeptember 3-October 13, the show's sumptuous costumes, elegant settings and Shavian wit will raise a champagne toast to a year of celebration at The Pearl, where Shaw, following Shakespeare, has been the second most produced playwright in The Pearl's history.
