Madison Wray

Madison Wray made her professional theater debut at the age of 8 when she played the role of the Young Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical at Northwest Children's Theater in Portland, OR. She went right on to play a principal role in The Magic Flute with the Portland Opera. She became a regular member of the Portland Opera Children's Chorus but continued to earn Portland Opera credits in principal roles as well including the role of Cis in Albert Herring. She played the role of Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol at Portland Center Stage in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 she played the role of Young Jacqueline Bouvier in Grey Gardens at Portland Center Stage. She has performed the title role in numerous productions at Oregon Children's Theater and won the PAMTA (Portland Area Musical Theater Award) for Outstanding Young Performer two years in a row (2013 and 2014). In 2013 she placed 4th in the Oregon State Solo Competition in the Mezzo Soprano category and in 2014 she placed 2nd. She is a member of the Marian Singers and had the honor of singing at the White House Christmas party in 2012.
