BIO

SAG Award Nominee Madison Thompson is an American actress and producer best known for her role as Erin Pierce on seasons three and four of Netflix's Emmy Award-winning show Ozark. Thompson plays 'Erin,' the 17-year-old daughter of cartel lawyer Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer).

In addition to her recurring guest star role on Ozark, Thompson has appeared in several other television series, including guest starring roles on NCIS: New Orleans (CBS) opposite Scott Bacula, on Shots Fired (Fox) as Helen Hunt's daughter, and in other guest star and recurring roles on networks such as ABC, AMC's Shudder, Nickelodeon and TNT. She also appeared in a 4-month run on CBS's The Young and the Restless.

Coming in 2023, Thompson will be one of the stars of the new Paramount+ prequel TV series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. She will be acting, singing and dancing in the series regular role of "Susan." In July, Thompson will also be featured in a recurring guest star role on the new limited Netflix series Boo, Bitch with Lana Condor. On the movie front, Thompson is one of the leads in Amazon's and Temple Hill's newest feature film Emergency, opposite Sabrina Carpenter. The movie premiered at Sundance 2022 and will release in theaters and on Prime Video in May.

Thompson began performing at the age of ten in a wide range of musical theater roles, from "Ariel" in Footloose to "Brigitta" in The Sound of Music. She received a 2018 Shuler Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in her role as "Wendy" in Peter Pan. Aside from acting professionally, Thompson is a Presidential Scholar at the University of Southern California, where she is enrolled in a joint degree program in the Business and Cinematic Arts schools and is also minoring in Musical Theater.
