Madison Fiedler is a playwright from North Carolina. Plays include SPAY (extended-run 2022 world premiere at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 2022 Jeff Award nominee for Best New Work, 2023 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize nominee, 2023 Steinberg/ATCA New Play Award Finalist, 2020 Kilroys List, 2021 Princess Grace Playwriting Fellowship runner-up, 2019 National Showcase of New Plays, Florida Rep’s 2020 PlayLab Festival, 2021 Theatre Lab at FAU, 2019 BoHo Theatre reading), SCREECH OWL (2023 Studio Theatre workshop; 2021 finalist: Playwrights Realm Writing Fellowship, Leah Ryan Fund for Emerging Women Writers, Theater J’s Patty Abramson Prize; semi-finalist: Jewish Plays Project’s Jewish Playwriting Contest, Fault Line Theatre’s Irons in the Fire), IF GOD CAME A CALLIN (Barter Theatre’s Appalachian Festival of Plays & Playwrights), THE INCUBATORS (Westport Country Playhouse’s New Works Initiative), and I TALK TO THE FLOWERS (Skidmore College, University of Kentucky).
