A passionate performing artist, advocate, and arts influencer, Maddie is dedicated to building community and healing divide through storytelling and performance. She performs frequently as a vocalist in cabarets and benefit concerts featuring professional young artists in NYC and LA, and was awarded first place in ATNY's Cabaret competition judged by Fred Bronson (American Idol/Billboard). Vocal genres include bel canto opera (Italian), Zarzuela (Spanish), folk singing (Korean), and pop/R&B. Theater roles in NYC and LA include: Jennifer in KOTA’s US premiere of Knight at the Museum, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde at the Jaxx Theatre in Hollywood, Mrs. Cohen in the Jaxx HS/College Conservatory production of RENT, Regina George in Mean Girls, High School edition, Tess Tyler in KOTA's Times Square production of Disney's Camp Rock, Toffee in Zombie Prom, Moana in Moana, Jr., Elsa in Frozen, Jr., Princess Fiona in Shrek, Izzy Frank in the staged reading of the new musical, The Road to Soc-Con, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and Wendy Darling in Peter Pan. Dance training includes competitive jazz, hip hop, and tap, including first place award at the 2021 Royal Dance Competition for her musical theater solo rendition, 'Ain't We Got Fun'. She is also a classical pianist who has performed in Carnegie Hall in the Winners' Recital of the 2019 Little Mozarts Crescendo International Competition. As an arts education advocate, she has worked alongside Cambodia Living Arts promoting cultural arts exchange with local Cambodian high schools, founded and leads The Speech Collective, connecting teens and young children in free public speaking skills workshops, and was recently featured in Harper's Bazaar Vietnam.
