Annual All-Stars Concert Comes to Flushing Town Hall
On Wednesday, July 10 at 7:00 PM, Flushing Town Hall, a Smithsonian affiliate, will host its fourth annual Jazz Jam All-Stars Concert and honor the musicians who regularly attend its monthly Louis Armstrong Legacy Jazz Jams.
Flushing Town Hall To Host Native American Social
On Saturday, December 3, Flushing Town Hall will partner with NativeTec, Ma's House & BIPOC Art Studio Inc., and Niamuck Land Trust to host its annual Native American Social. The event will feature artwork, dancing, drumming, singing, and story sharing to build community. Refreshments will be served.
Flushing Town Hall Celebrates 2nd Annual Jazz Jam All-Stars Concert, July 16
On Saturday, July 16th at 7:30 PM, Flushing Town Hall will host its 2nd Annual Jazz Jam All-Stars Concert. This celebratory event honors the musicians and audiences who regularly attended Flushing Town Hall's in-person and virtual Jazz Jams, as well as its dedicated house band led by Carol Sudhalter, featuring Joe Vincent Tranchina, Scott Neumann, and Eric Lemon.
Tanglewood Marionettes Return To Flushing Town Hall, December 11
On Saturday, December 11, the award-winning Tanglewood Marionettes return to Flushing Town Hall with an underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore. The Dragon King, featuring colorful sea creatures, an exciting adventure, and gorgeous hand-crafted marionettes, will inspire a love for puppetry in children and adults alike.
Flushing Town Hall Will Present 7th Annual Diwali Festival
This November 6, Flushing Town Hall will celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with a socially distanced festival of music, dance, traditional foods, and family-friendly activities. And this year, for the first time, the cultural venue is holding a Rangoli Design competition - with the winners' artwork being prominently displayed for all to see!
