The Theatre Project to Present KALEIDOSCOPE KABARET This Month
The Theater Project will present Kaleidoscope Kabaret, its annual showcase of new work, July 28-30. Audiences are invited to see a variety of short plays by members of the company's Playwrights Workshop whose work has been performed in Canada, Great Britain, New York and around the US.

Actor-Tutors Turn Kids on to Reading in Theater Project Pilot Program
Actors Reading with Kids -- ARK -- was piloted by The Theater Project and the Union Public Library on the premise that acting and teaching have much in common, and that, as skilled, trained readers, actors could coach children in developing confidence and excitement for the vital exercise of reading aloud.
The Theater Project to Host First Virtual Event
The Theater Project is hosting its first virtual event: a reading of Vile Things in Dark Corners at 2 PM, Saturday, April 18. Registration is required for this live event, which will be hosted on the Zoom teleconferencing platform.

KALEIDOSCOPE KABARET Returns At Union Hall This Month
Comedy and drama are on the table with the turkey this Thanksgiving, when Kaleidoscope Kabaret, an annual program of short plays by the members of The Theater Project's Playwrights Workshop comes to Union Center, November 23 and 24. Two of the plays in the program are about the joys and woes of the approaching holidays.

'Laughing All the Way to the Bank' Performs Short Plays at Unity Bank
Writers need inspiration; since the annual showcase of new work from Theater Project's Playwrights Workshop is being performed at Unity Bank, the authors chose to write about money, or the lack thereof, to create LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK, an evening of short comedies. This is the latest of a series of POP UP Theater events designed to bring entertainment to Union and foot traffic to the Union's Downtown Center, hosted by Unity Bank, in a cleverly converted annex at its Stuyvesant Avenue branch.

New Perspectives Theatre Company Brings 10th Annual Women's Work Short Play Festival to New York
New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) is pleased to announce Resistance is Futile, our 10th Annual Women's Work Short Play Festival, running Monday, August 6 to Saturday, August 11, 2018. The Festival performs in two programs on an alternating schedule of 4:00pm and 8:00pm, with a combined program on August 11th at 2pm and 5pm.
