BIO

Lukas Baeskow is a German musical theatre actor, musician, and magician trained and based in New York City, who gave up his free healthcare to follow his dreams. His most recent credits include the role of Defense Attorney Oskar Rolfe in Judgement at Nuremberg (Staten Island Shakespeare Theatre Co.), Vom Breitenweg zum Broadway (Solo Magic Show in Germany), The Court Martial of Almirante Montojo (Manhattan Repertory Theatre), `Tis the Season (Broad Views on Broadway), and Birds of a Feather (Living Room Theatre NYC). In his spare time, he produces his own solo cabarets and magic shows. His further interests include social justice, foreign languages, storytelling, fitness and cooking.

Combining the fun of 'Grease', the adolescence of 'High School Musical' and the performance ambition of 'A Chorus Line', HiTops delivers an energetic blast to the past while dealing with some weighty matters of the heart. A Deadly Game of Chess, the first work from local playwright and director Melody Rose will debut at the Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne (70 Sanford Street in Fairfield, CT) on Sunday, June 30 at 4:00PM.  The drama is staged largely by a cast and crew of local high school and college students, with proceeds benefitting Circle of Friends, a Norwalk-based non-profit organization that serves children, teens, and young adults with autism and disabilities. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and available at https://boxoffice.fairfieldtheatre.org/single/SelectSeating.aspx?p=8868 .

JUDGMENT AT NUREMBURG To Be Presented At Staten Island Third County Courthouse

Based upon the Academy Award winning film and adapted to the Broadway Stage in 2001 by Abby Mann, Judgment at Nuremberg is set in the aftermath of World War II in 1947 and centers on a military tribunal convened in Nuremberg, Germany, in which four German judges and prosecutors stand accused of crimes against humanity for their involvement in atrocities committed under the Nazi regime.
