Full Cast and Creative Team Revealed For The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's KING LEAR

Full cast and creative team has been announced for the production which will open in previews at Wyndham’s Theatre on 21 October, with a press night on 31 October. The final performance in London will be on 9 December. In autumn 2024 the production will transfer to The Shed’s Griffin Theater in New York.

Performances are at The Witham in Barnard Castle on 27 September, The Playhouse in Alnwick on 28 September, Queen's Hall Arts Centre in Hexham on 29 September, and The Maltings in Berwick on 30 September.

The 'First Lady of the World' Crosses the English Channel with MRS ROOSEVELT FLIES TO LONDON

Following a near sell out season at Assembly at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe, critically acclaimed actress Alison Skilbeck crosses the English Channel to France with her one-woman play Mrs Roosevelt Flies to London, with a performance at Le Colombier Theatre, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Tarn on 3 June for Friends of English Theatre.
MRS. ROOSEVELT FLIES TO LONDON to Launch Spring Tour

Critically acclaimed actress Alison Skilbeck kicks off a spring 2016 tour of her one-woman play Mrs Roosevelt Flies to London, at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on 5 February. The production continues on to The Mill Studio at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre on 3 - 5 March, Omnibus Clapham on 7 April, and finally at Mercury Theatre, Colchester on the 6-7 May. With special permission from the Roosevelt Estate to use Eleanor's diary and writings, the play captures the spirit, humour, and passion of one of the most extraordinary women of the 20th century, on her daring visit to Britain in 1942.

Highlights include: the European premiere of Man in the Middle, which caused a sensation when it premiered under the title Stainless Steel Rat in Sydney earlier this year about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange;Man in the Middle by Australian playwright Ron Elisha is a co-production between Theatre503 and Cheepuk, running from 10 January to 3 February. Looking at the many faces and fallouts of 'the most dangerous man in the world', Man in the Middle is a Wikiplay that has been sourced from the public domain, and then refracted, redacted and reimagined by the Playwright. Directed by Lucy Skilbeck and starring original Australian cast member Darren Weller as Julian Assange, it tells the story of a man who sought to out the truth at any cost.
