Royal Court Theatre Announces March 2020 Events; and Summary of Strategies For Becoming Carbon Net Zero
In October 2019 the Royal Court Theatre committed to spending 2020 transitioning to becoming a carbon net zero arts venue. Working groups across the organisation led on strategic areas, and consultants were engaged to advise on energy, waste, food and drink, water (cleaning and chemicals), travel and transport, and ticketing, paper and communications to implement immediate operational changes. London Theatre Consortium (LTC), a collaboration of 14 leading producing theatres in London, has announced the latest results of its groundbreaking collaborative environmental sustainability programme. The initiative was set up in 2010 in partnership with arts and environment agency Julie's Bicycle and is now in its seventh year.

HANGMEN Recoups in Under Six Weeks
Producers Robert Fox, Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions have revealed that Matthew Dunster's production of Martin McDonagh's Hangmen has recouped in under six weeks. The news comes as the production is announced the winner of the Critic's Circle 'Best New Play' and 'Best Design' Awards today. Following a sell out run at the Royal Court Theatre, Matthew Dunster's production of Martin McDonagh'sHangmen transferred to the West End for a strictly limited season in December and must end on 5 March.
