Encores! Is Holding Open Auditions for THE TAP DANCE KID
Encores! continues this season with The Tap Dance Kid and the show is looking for... a tap dancing kid. Virtual auditions are being accepted through November 10 for Willie, a black 10 year-old. The actor must be 12 years old or older, fully vaccinated, with an 'unchanged voice.'

Main Street Theater continues its 2015-2016 Theater for Youth season with Harriet the Spy. Based on Louise Fitzhugh's classic written in 1964, the play tells the story of curious and intelligent Harriet M. Welsch, an 11-year-old determined to become a writer - who gets herself into a fair amount of mischief! Main Street's production is set in the 70's with super fun costumes and music.
Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy to Present HARRIET THE SPY
Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy proudly presents Harriet the Spy, a lively dramatization of the modern classic by Louise Fitzhugh, March 18 and 19 at 4:30 pm and March 20 at 11:30am. All performances will be at the Bangor Opera House. 'This story has resonated for generations,' said Director of Education Amy Roeder, 'because it speaks honestly and very humorously to the growing pains everyone experiences in the 'tween years.'
Penobscot Theatre Company to Present HARRIET THE SPY
Penobscot Theatre Company is now registering youths aged 4-15 for its upcoming Dramatic Academy production of Harriet the Spy. After-school classes will begin January 5 and run every Tuesday and Thursday until March 17. At the end of the winter session, students will perform Harriet the Spy, fully produced, at the historic Bangor Opera House on March 18, 19 and 20. Registration will close January 6.
