On a bitter cold blizzard day in January, the Maine theatre community was deriving some warmth and cheer by celebrating its achievements with the 2017 Broadway World Audience Choice award winners. The sixteen theatre artists voted by Maine theatre-goers as the best in each category of performing and technical achievements were selected from a group of 69 finalists, culled from over 9000 nominees rwho epresented less than % of all those in contention for the accolades, and voting for the winners was close and competitive to the very end of the process.

Beginning performances Tuesday, February 7, WICKED will welcome back PJ BENJAMIN, who will return to the Broadway blockbuster in the role of The Wizard, and CHAD JENNINGS, direct from the National Tour of WICKED, in the role of Doctor Dillamond. This is Chad's Broadway debut.

Lyricist/librettist, Michael Colby, author of the memoir, 'The Algonquin Kid-Adventures Growing Up at New York's Legendary Hotel," celebrated his 65th Birthday on Sunday, Oct. 30th with a fundraiser/musical event for Child Find of America. 'Quel Fromage II' featured performers from Broadway and cabaret, including members of TADA! P.J. Benjamin to Reprise Role in CHARLIE AND ALGERNON at Feinstein's/54 Below
As previously announced, the 1980 musical based on the beloved novel Flowers For Algernon will come to life again for one night only at Feinstein's/54 Below. The show's original star, P.J. Benjamin (Wicked, Chicago, Sophisticated Ladies and more), will reprise several of the songs he originated on Broadway 46 years ago this September.
