GatherNYC Concerts Continue With Joe Lovano, Brandon Patrick George & Parker Ramsay, Duo Kayo, Invoke, Borromeo And Juilliard Quartets At MAD In Columbus Circle

GatherNYC, a revolutionary concert experience founded in 2018 by cellist Laura Metcalf and guitarist Rupert Boyd, continues its 2023-24 season at the series' home venue, Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) (2 Columbus Circle) with six upcoming concerts iJanuary, February, and March. The season runs through May 2024, with concerts held every other Sunday at 11am in The Theater at MAD. Coffee and pastries are served before each performance at 10:30am.

Juilliard announces its roster of recitals and chamber music concerts for the 2018-19 season. The Daniel Saidenberg Faculty Recital Series features annual appearances by the Juilliard String Quartet (Monday, November 19 and Monday, March 25, at 7:30pm, in Alice Tully Hall) and the American Brass Quintet (Monday, September 24, at 7:30pm, in Paul Hall), as well as recitals by violinist Laurie Smukler and pianist Robert McDonald (Monday, February 4, at 7:30pm, in Morse Hall), violist Samuel Rhodes and friends (Tuesday, March 19, at 7:30PM, in Paul Hall), and a chamber music concert with faculty members, violinist Catherine Cho, violist Hsin-Yun Huang, cellist Natasha Brofsky, and pianist Robert McDonald (Thursday, February 14, at 7:30pm, in Paul Hall).

The concert, fresh from its Carnegie Hall debut the night before, will be performed Friday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m., preceded by a concert talk by UConn music historian Glenn Stanley at 6:45 p.m.
