THREE DAYS IN THE COUNTRY Receives West Coast Premiere At Antaeus

Full of wit, folly and heart, a tale of unrequited passion unfolds over the course of three days in the sunny Russian countryside as men and women, both young and old, learn the tender and ridiculous lessons of love. Antaeus Theatre Company presents the West Coast premiere of Three Days in the Country by Patrick Marber, a fresh, breezy update of Ivan Turgenev's classic comedy A Month in the Country. Andrew Paul directs the partner-cast ensemble for a July 12 and July 13 opening (one opening night for each cast) at the Kiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale, where performances continue through Aug. 26. Low-priced previews begin July 5.

Antaeus Theatre Company presents a fully partner-cast production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Christopher Hampton's Olivier, Evening Standard and New York Drama Critic's Circle Award-winning adaptation of the scandalous novel by Choderlos de Laclos. Directed by Robin Larsen, Les Liaisons Dangereuses opens on Oct. 26and Oct. 27 (one opening for each cast), running through Dec. 10 at theKiki & David Gindler Performing Arts Center in Glendale. Low-priced previews begin on Oct. 19.

ANTIGONE Begins 9/20 at A Noise Within

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents a world premiere adaptation of Jean Anouilh's Antigone, translated and directed by ANW Resident Artist Robertson Dean, beginning September 20 and playing through November 20, 2015 (opens on September 26).   Antigone is the second production in the Company's 2015-2016 BREAKING AND ENTERING season, preceded by the West Coast Premiere of David Ives' translation of Georges Feydeau's classic farce A Flea in Her Ear (September 6-November 22) and followed by All My Sons by Arthur Miller, in celebration of the Miller centennial (October 11-November 21).

National Radio Theater founder Yuri Rasovsky passed away from esophageal cancer on Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
