2013-14 ENCORE AWARDS Nominees Announced!

The 2013-14 Encore Awards nominees are announced.
Basile One-Minute Play Festival Set for Phoenix Theatre, 3/22-24

The One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) (Dominic D'Andrea, Producing Artistic Director) and Phoenix Theatre (Bryan Fonseca, Producing Director; Tom Horan, Phoenix Theatre Playwright in Residence) have created a dynamic partnership for The Basile One-minute Play Festival with part of the proceeds to benefit the Phoenix Theatre.
Phoenix Theatre Extends LOVE LOSS AND WHAT I WORE Until 9/15

LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE by Nora and Delia Ephron, has extended through September 15 at the Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis. Dates of extension: September 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 2013.

The Encore Association has announced the nominees for Plays and Musicals for the 2011- 2012 Season of Encore. The winners will be announced at the 43rd Annual Encore Awards Fundraiser which will be held tonight, October 29, 2012 at the Madame Walker Theatre Center, 617 Indiana Avenue in Indianapolis. The evening will begin with a social hour from 6 to 7 pm; with the fundraiser starting at 7 pm.

The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces Avenue Q, opening June 2 and playing through July 10, 2011 on the Phoenix Mainstage. Avenue Q, with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and original story by Jeff Whitty, opened off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre in March 2003, where it gained rave reviews, and was extended four times. The Phoenix is the first regional, professional theatre to produce Avenue Q, winner of the 2004 Tony for Best Musical, with a local professional cast and crew.
