Opera Unlimited to Present THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE
The students of the Opera Unlimited Summer Youth Opera Day Camp will present a fully-staged abridged production of Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta The Pirates of Penzance on July 10th and 11th at 7 PM in the Highland High School Performing Arts Center.

Curtains, written by Rupert Holmes (music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb) is a send-up of backstage murder mystery plots, set in Boston,MA, in 1959. Police Lieutenant Frank Cioffi (played by Adobe favorite Tim MacAlpine) is called to the theater to investigate the murder of the supremely untalented star of Robin' Hood of the Old West during her opening night curtain call.

Theatre Threads is a fashion show and luncheon hosted by the Denver Center Alliance, featuring costumes from the Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) stage productions. Costumes will be modeled by some of Denver's philanthropic leaders.

It doesn't happen often, but in 1981 a group of talented actors put on a little show about waitresses and garage guys. Then, in 1982 it moved to Broadway where it ran for more than 570 performances. PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES has been performed frequently around the USA ever since, and this August, director Daryl Streeter will bring the delightful musical to the ADOBE Theater for a dozen performances.

Denver Center's WOMEN WITH HATTITUDE Tickets On Sale
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts' popular Women with Hattitude luncheon returns for Act Seven, Thursday May 3, at 11:30am in the Seawell Grand Ballroom. More than $20,000 will be raised to support the Women's Voices Fund at the Denver Center Theatre Company, which enables the company to commission and produce plays written by women.
