The Human Race embraces its mission of “exploring the human condition” in its 36th season by presenting themes of family, national security, dementia, creativity, race, and autism. Palo Alto Players continues its 91st season with the Peninsula premiere of' ALLEGIANCE. This powerful Broadway musical, inspired by the true-life experiences of TV/film actor and social media icon George Takei (Mr. Sulu on Star Trek), tells the story of one family's extraordinary journey during the Japanese American internment of World War II. The company has assembled an all-star cast of 20 local Bay Area artists under the direction of Vinh G. Nguyen to bring the story of ALLEGIANCE to the stage.
