Liz Falstreau is a performing artist in Chicago, IL. She has performed across the Chicago store front theater community since 2016. She has a Bachelor’s in Music from Florida State University and a Master’s in Arts Administration from Roosevelt University. Her first musical, IRON IRENE: A MUSICAL FABLE, premiered at the 2018 Chicago Music Theater Festival and was nominated for "Best Book," and won "Best Set Design."
In 2021, she released her first album of songs, Full Transformation, on all streaming platforms, co-wrote and produced her second musical theater piece, “GASLIGHT: A MINI-MUSICAL," with Annabelle Revak (available on Youtube), was accepted into Ben Folds songwriting intensive, and was nominated for best actress in the indie film, “THE JOGGER"(Surging Films). Recently, she was the female lead, Molly Wood, in City Lit Theater Company’s world premiere of, “THE VIRGINIAN,” written by LC Bernadine and Spencer Huffman and directed by Terry McCabe. In 2022 she performed at the Neofuturists, workshopped two characters in "SAINT HILDEGARD: AN UNFINISHED REVOLUTION," by Heidi Joosten, David Reddyck, Ethan Krupp, and Elizabeth Swanson at Theo Ubique in Evanston, and performed in multiple concerts with Robbie Ellis, including Sunday Fizz at the Rhapsody Theater on Morse in Rogers Park. In 2023, Liz premiered a role in Zack Peercy’s “Muffed: A Recounting of Farmington, Maine's 43rd Annual Chester Greenwood Day Devised by the Members of the Meaningful Action Theatre Company,” at Three Brothers Theatre, was a volunteer actor at DePaul’s Film school, and was voted into the Top Three Chicago Actors of 2022 in The Best of Chicago issue of the Chicago Reader.
