2014 Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Award Winners Announced!
Last night, June 20, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a sold-out, grand gala for over 1,200 attendees at the Westin Bonaventure, in downtown Los Angeles. OWN's SUPER SOUL SUNDAY Wins 2nd Daytime Emmy
OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network's popular Sunday morning series “Super Soul Sunday,” from Harpo Studios, won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Series at Friday night's (June 20) 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony. This is the second win and third nomination for the series in the three years that it has been on the air.
Olympia Dukakis Joins THE DAY BEFORE 11/8 at Symphony Space
Symphony Space, in collaboration with Hermitage Artist Retreat, presents the world premiere of The Day Before, a one-time-only multimedia event, on Friday, November 8 at 7:30 pm in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia. Conceived by the two organizations, it is produced and directed by Symphony Space's Artistic Director, Laura Kaminsky. The Day Before brings together more than 60 composers, writers, filmmakers, and visual artists to contribute original work around the theme November 21, 1963: The Day Before. Sparked by the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination, this moving production reimagines the world as it was on the eve of that tragic and cataclysmic day.

Van Commenée is known in The Netherlands for his music (sound) art objects, theatrical performances and soundtracks for theatre, fireworks spectacles and film.
