Chris Barillaro is one of the busiest men in Montreal. An accomplished Music Director, he is also a busy Actor, Composer, Orchestrator, Arranger and Accompanist. He is currently working on several projects, including Lyric Theatre Singers' upcoming BACK TO BROADWAY, which opens Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Concordia's DB Clarke Theatre.
The Next Wave Festival of New Musicals Runs This Weekend at Calixa-Lavallée and Lion d'Or
CETM (The Centre for Education and Theatre in Montreal) presents the 7th annual Next Wave Festival of New Musicals, a unique showcase for new musicals in development from Montreal and around the globe. Montreal-based artists are featured, including emerging writers and composers, as well as international guest performers. The Next Wave Festival is a world-class collection of performances, educational presentations and special events for musical theatre lovers and practitioners, as well as newbies to this incomparable artistic discipline. This year's exciting line-up will be presented at Calixa-Lavallee (in Parc Lafontaine) and Lion d'Or (at the Lionceau Room) from today, September 25 to 28. Various presentations are offered in French, in English, or in both languages. Audiences are also invited to enjoy three free events during the Festival.
