The Cathedral of St. John the Divine’s Great Music in a Great Space concert series will present Heaven’s Door, a performance by the Cathedral Choir and Orchestra, on Tuesday, April 5 at 7:30pm at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Avenue (at 112th Street). The concert will be held in person and available to livestream.

Linn Maxwell Keller, a world-class mezzo soprano who happened to live in West Michigan, performed with the orchestras of Chicago, Cleveland and Toronto, with opera companies from San Francisco and Cincinnati and across Europe, and at major Bach Festivals including Oregon, Carmel and Rochester before her death in 2016.

Directed by Erv Raible, with a book by Kathryn Ryan, the show features such songs as 'As Time Goes By', 'A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square', 'It Had To Be You', 'The White Cliffs of Dover', 'Mad About the Boy' and 'Lilli Marlene', which was made famous by legendary Marlene Dietrich. Paul Trueblood is the musical director.
