Madison Lyric Stage Announces 2020 Season; Subscriptions Now On-Sale

Madison Lyric Stage, a professional theater company serving the Connecticut Shoreline, has announced its 2020 mainstage season: a double bill of Puccini's Suor Angelica and Schoenberg's Erwartung in April; the landmark Mart Crowley play The Boys in the Band in July; and, for Halloween, the Stephen Sondheim/Hugh Wheeler musical masterpiece Sweeney Todd. All three productions will be directed by Marc Deaton.

91 Central Productions in association with Anemone Productions will present the World Premiere of The Battles of Richmond Hill a new comedy by Penny Jackson (I Know What Boys Want at the Lion Theatre; A Different Place in the 2017 FRIGID Festival), directed by Kathy Gail MacGowan (Kentucky Cantata at HERE; In the Summer Pavilion at 59E59) at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue, enter on Dominick Street, one block south of Spring Street), April 26-May 11.
DTC presents THE GREAT SOCIETY, Co-Produced with Houston's Alley Theatre

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents The Great Society at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. A co-production with the Alley Theatre and directed by DTC Enloe/Rose Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty, The Great Society begins on March 9 and runs through April 1. A Pay-What-You-Can performance will be Sunday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m., and Press Night will be Tuesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to The Great Society are on sale now at www.DallasTheaterCenter.org and by phone at (214) 880-0202.
