BIO

Lindsay Kristine Anderson grew up in Northern California, and began singing in church at the age of three. She started competing in the California State Talent and Performing Arts Competitions and won numerous Grand Champion awards. She was in the singing group “Kids of the Kingdom”, and the A capella group “Dickens Carolers”.

At the age of 16, Lindsay was cast in the New Works production of TechnoSmart, which toured schools throughout Northern California teaching kids about science and technology. She originated the role of “Alex” and her voice can be heard on the original soundtrack recording. Lindsay became very involved in Youth Focus, Inc. and went on to compete in Miss California State pageants, running twice as Miss Santa Clara County, in which she won first runner-up to Miss CA. Lindsay was accepted into The American Musical and Dramatic Academy's (AMDA) professional conservatory in Los Angeles and studied musical theatre, voice, dance and on-camera acting.

From a young age, Lindsay has been very involved in musical theatre and has performed with numerous companies and venues throughout California including the beautiful Flint Center, The San Jose Civic, Musical Theatre West, Moonlight Amphitheatre, Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre, Montgomerey Theatre, The Lewis Family Playhouse, Encore Dinner Theatre and more.

In 2013, Lindsay will be performing with Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre (UFOMT). Lindsay currently resides in Southern California.

BWW Reviews: MTW Opens 60th Season with Tap-Tastic 42ND STREET Revival

To high-kick-start its 60th anniversary season, Musical Theatre West in Long Beach, CA is presenting a glossy, high-energy revival of what could be the Great Grand-Daddy of all backstage musicals: 42ND STREET. This terrific, tap-tastic new production continues performances at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center through November 11.
