Megan Hussey and Linda White-Francis Release 'Merry Christmas India Stone'
Recently on a lark, two longtime friends and indie press authors collaborated on a light hearted Christmas story called 'Merry Christmas India Stone'; a sweet romance set for inclusion in Melange Books' Holiday Hopes digest.
Florida writers Linda White-Francis and Megan Hussey weren't sure how well 'India Stone,' a sweet romance, would perform in today's sophisticated, sensationalistic romance market; but the seasoned penwomen are thrilled to report that, upon its Nov. 18 release, the single e-book version of 'Merry Christmas India Stone' shot up to the top 60,000 on the Amazon.Com sales charts.
'We're happily surprised by the success of our book,' said Megan Hussey, a published romance author since 2005. 'This light romance, which we dedicated to our moms, is being embraced by many others as well.'
'Merry Christmas India Stone' is a timeless holiday story of fresh starts and new love. Facing her first Christmas alone as a recent divorcee, India Stone takes an impulsive trip to an Aspen ski lodge; where the handsome, dashing Tristan Halliwell sweeps her off of her feet and onto the slopes. Spoiling her with romantic sleigh rides, beautiful gifts and romantic candlelight dinners, Tristan lends light, love and color to India's holiday.
'Merry Christmas India Stone' is every single woman's wish come true. And, definitely the best Christmas present under the tree this year,' White-Francis said.
Prior to this story, White-Francis and Hussey were co-publishers of The Ladies Sampler literary magazine. White-Francis also published 'Romance Away,' a digest of sweet romance, with Melange Books; and also has published numerous articles in doll and hobby magazines. Hussey is a journalist who has two previous Christmas books in print, 'Jingle Bell Romance' and 'Mauve Christmas' available through PublishAmerica, as well as romances available through Melange, Class Act, Phaze and ME House publishers.
Coming up next for the duo is 'The Ghost and Mrs. Dunn,' another sweet romance novella set to be released through Melange Books. In the meantime, check out 'Merry Christmas India Stone,' available as a single book andcoming soonas a story in the Holiday Hopes anthology, both available at http://www.melange-books.com/.
