Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) and Kate Maguire (Artistic Director, CEO) have announced casting for two of its summer 2023 shows: Million Dollar Quartet, a three-time Tony Award–nominated once-in-a-lifetime musical evening back by popular demand with some of the same cast as 2017 and Photograph 51, an intriguing portrait of the race to discover the mysteries of the DNA double helix.

Fresh off a smash-hit run at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, Cambridge-based Liars & Believers (LAB) will give a free performance of its well-reviewed show 'Yellow Bird Chase' at Starlight Square in Central Square at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25. This showing is the rescheduling of a much-anticipated July performance that was cancelled because of the intense heat.

The Boston Center for the Arts (BCA), Boston's premier nonprofit organization dedicated to serving up-and-coming visual and performing artists in the Greater Boston area, is pleased to announce the recipients of the new BCA Performing Arts Residency Program. The BCA Performing Arts Residency Program serves emerging and early stage theatre and dance companies. Prompted by the close of the Factory Theatre, the newly restructured Performing Arts Residency grew out of community conversations with area small theatres. BCA is excited to offer an expanded program that includes three dance companies and an additional eight resident theatre companies.
