BIO

Leslie has worked as an actress, singer, dancer, choreographer, teacher, dance competition judge and an aerielist.

Leslie began dancing at the age of 4 and singing at the age of 6. At age 16, she landed her first commercial and choreographed her first show. While attending Webster College’s Conservatory for Theater Arts, she was a member of the Webster Dance Theater and booked her first National commercial for Dr. Pepper.

Leslie went on to perform all over the country as well as internationally. She performed in everything from free street and dinner theater to national tours and Broadway. On Broadway, Leslie performed the role of Peter Pan in Jerome Robbins Broadway.

Nationally Leslie played the parts of Betty Schaefer in Sunset Boulevard, the White Cat in CATS, Angel in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and a Silly Girl in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Regionally Leslie portrayed Sandy in Grease, Cassie in A Chorus Line, Minnie Fay in Hello Dolly with JoAnn Worley, Anybodys in West Side Story, Ellie in Showboat, Grace Farrell in Annie, Zaneeta in The Music Man and last but not least Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew with the Shakespeare Festival of Chicago.

Leslie has done industrial shows for noted companies such as McDonalds, Coca Cola, Hardees, Little Ceasar’s, and Sebastian Hair Products.

Additionally, Leslie has been an assistant to the choreographer or dance captain for many productions including the Scarlet Pimpernel and George M! at Fullerton Civic Light Opera, Funny Girl and Fiddler on the Roof at Sacramento Music Circus, Oliver at North Shore Music Theater, and Jesus Christ Superstar at La Mirada Performing Arts Center.

Leslie has worked as a judge for various dance competitions including Czar Productions, Showstoppers, and Kids Artistic Review (KAR)

Leslie has performed in many benefits and reviews to raise funds for a variety of organizations including Equity Fights Aids, Broadway Cares, and the Actor’s Fund.

Leslie has taught master classes at a number of schools and musical theater camps. For the past ten plus years Leslie has volunteered her time with inner city kids, teaching, developing and producing performance and art opportunities in Southern California.
