GODSPELL Extends at FIM Flint Repertory Theatre
Due to enthusiastic response, FIM Flint Repertory Theatre is extending its run of the musical Godspell. Originally scheduled to close on Oct. 20, the company has added two additional weekends, and the show will now run until Nov. 3.
Broadway Producer Leonard Soloway Passes Away
The Broadway League sadly just announced the passing of Leonard Soloway. Soloway was a 3-time Tony Award winning Producer, General Manager, and Company Manager on Broadway from 1961-2011.

New York's Leading LGBTQ Film Festival 'Newfest' Announces Full Lineup
New York's leading LGBTQ film festival, NewFest, has announced the full lineup of their 31st annual celebration of the year's best LGBTQ films from around the world. As announced earlier this week, the festival will kick off the festival's 31st edition with the New York premiere of Mike Doyle's Manhattan-set ensemble rom-com SELL BY, featuring an eclectic cast including Scott Evans (Netflix's “Grace and Frankie”), Kate Walsh (ABC's “Grey's Anatomy”), Academy Award-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Buteau (Netflix's “Tales of the City”) and Augustus Prew (HIGH-RISE), and will close the festival with the New York premiere of Rodrigo Bellott's award-winning film TU ME MANQUES, which was recently announced as Bolivia's submission for Best International Feature Film selection for the 2019 Academy Awards.

The show opened on Saturday, June 2 and was met with rave reviews and a positive audience response. The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 18 categories for the 31st Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Lortel Awards will be presented on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST. This year's event will once again benefit The Actors Fund.
