BIO

Leo James is pursuing a BFA in Drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Currently, he is workshopping an original musical titled 'Gay Agenda,' originating the role of Jordan. Having been working professionally since age 11, Leo has performed around the nation at theatres such as Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and the historic Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis. He is a member of the NYU N'Harmonics, Tisch's only a capella group who has allowed him to perform at venues such as Boston Symphony Hall. In 2016 he was awarded Hennepin Theatre Trust's Triple Threat Award for Best Actor in MN. He placed first in the NATS Musical Theatre Competition in 2015, and was the first runner-up in 2016.
