Due to popular demand Normal Ave and Leigh Honigman will extend performances for their World Premiere of Of the Woman Came the Beginning of Sin and Through Her We All Die, written by Lily Houghton and directed by Kylie M. Brown at Normal Ave's Medicine Show Theatre (549 W 52nd St, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10019). Additional performances will be on Thursday, October 24 at 8pm, Friday, October 25 at 8pm, and Saturday, October 26 at 8pm. Previously announced performances will be on Thursday, October 17 at 8pm, Friday, October 18 at 8pm, Saturday, October 19 at 8pm, and Sunday, October 20 at 3pm. Tickets ($20-$30) are available for advance purchase at www.normalave.org/ofthewoman. The performance runs approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

Normal Ave Announces 2019-20 Season With Two World Premieres, A Rare Revival, And The Return Of Free New Works Festival

Normal Ave is proud to announce its 2019-20 season. The season will kick off October 3, 2019 with the world premiere of Of the woman came the beginning of sin and through her we all die by Lily Houghton, directed by Kylie M. Brown. Following will be another world premiere: Indoor Person by Kayla Martine, directed by Andrew Garrett, which begins performances February 19, 2020. The season will finish with The Book of Grace by Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Shariffa Ali, which returns to New York for the first time since the 2010 run at The Public. The Parks revival begins performances April 23, 2020. Casts and creative teams will be announced at a later date.

In response to the recent passing of U.S. Senate Bill S.1693, the C*nt Collective presents Missed Connections: A Craigslist Cabaret, in support of the Sex Workers Project. The evening will feature devised works by sex workers and their allies, memorializing the now-defunct Missed Connections section of Craigslist. Hosted at the Museum of Sex, the event will take place on April 30 from 7-11 p.m.
