Last night, May 9, VOCA PEOPLE (www.VocaPeopleNYC.com), the hit musical, welcomed "Police Academy" star and "the man of 10,000 sound effects" Michael Winslow as he joins the VOCA PEOPLE for four select performances through May 20 at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street). Mr. Winslow will perform with VOCA PEOPLE again May 13 at 5:30pm, May 14 at 8pm, May 16 at 7pm and May 17 at 7pm. Nominations in 14 categories were announced today by the Off-Broadway League for the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. This year's ceremony will once again benefit The Actors Fund. The Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00pm EST.
Dylan's Candy Bar Honors VOCA PEOPLE With 'Voca Vanilla' Ice Cream
The new hit musical comedy, VOCA PEOPLE, currently playing to standing ovations at Westside Theatre, will be honored by Dylan's Candy Bar (1011 Third Avenue at 60th Street) with a new Voca Ice Cream Flavor. 'Voca Vanilla' is Dylan's classic Vanilla Ice Cream which will be renamed and makes its debut Friday, October 7th at 2pm at Dylan's. 'Voca Vanilla' will be unveiled with a performance in the cafe by the white-faced, red-lipped VOCA PEOPLE. This is the first time Dylan's Candy Bar has renamed an ice cream flavor.

The new hit intergalactic musical Voca People, currently playing to standing ovations at the Westside Theatre, was honored by B. Smith's Restaurant with a new cocktail this weekend. On Friday evening, August 19, Voca People became the latest production to inspire a beverage on the restaurants Broadway Cocktail Menu ...'The Voca-tini' (infused vodka, triple sec, white cranberry juice). VOCA PEOPLE Announces New Performance Schedule
Voca People, the new intergalactic musical and YouTube sensation, currently in previews at The Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd Street) and opening on July 12th, has announced a new performance schedule.
