New Earth Theatre Announce Full Cast For World Première Of Joanne Lau's WORTH
New Earth Theatre and Storyhouse, in association with Arcola Theatre, today announce the full cast for the world première production of WORTH, a new darkly comic drama exploring immigration and family secrets from Chinese Canadian writer, Joanne Lau. Mingyu Lin directs Arthur Lee (Jacob) and Jennifer Lim (Penny), Stephen Hoo (Ted), Sara Chia-Jewell (May), Zachary Hing (Anthony).

Eggbone, now comprised of cornetist Dan Clucas, saxophonist Chris Jonas, bassist Casey Andersen, and drummer Dave Wayne is an ad hoc musical ensemble that just keeps happening every once in a while. When asked to discuss the nature of the band and its music, drummer Wayne mutters "I just just keep getting roped into these things. There's really nothing I can do about it besides play my butt off and hope for the best."

Takao Osawa, the multi-award-winning actor and star of one of Japan's most popular television series JIN, will join the cast of THE KING AND I to play the Kralahome, trusted adviser to The King of Siam, when the smash hit musical transfers from Broadway to the London Palladium for "London's theatrical event of 2018" (Daily Express) on 21 June (Press Night 3 July).

An epic tale of lust, jealousy and revenge, DIAOCHAN: THE RISE OF THE COURTESAN finishes its UK tour with a three-week run at the Arts Theatre in the West End this May. The production comes courtesy of British East Asian theatre company Red Dragonfly. Ross Ericson has adapted for the stage The Romance of the Three Kingdoms - one of China's oldest tales, and often referred to as a Chinese Macbeth.

Denver's Wonderbound is gaining national attention this October as Artistic Director Garrett Ammon's "Serenade for Strings" premieres with San Francisco's Smuin Ballet. In addition, the work will be a part of Wonderbound's season opening production of "Enduring Grace" with musicians of the Colorado Symphony. "Enduring Grace" also features a world premiere work by Company Artist Sarah Tallman.

Despite a torrential rainstorm midway through the performance, the 4th Annual Broadway Under the Stars played to an SRO crowd in an elegant tent on the historic Tewksbury, New Jersey property of Cherie King, The Development Wing and her husband composer, lyricist and book writer, Jonathan Brielle, Artistic Director of The Development Wing and Vice President, The Johnny Mercer Foundation. The Bixby Knolls are set to release their full-length debut, Near & Undear, on December 11th. On it the L.A.-based foursome offer up 11 tracks that blur the lines between indie rock, psychedelia, post-punk, pop and even soulful R&B. At times spastic, surreal and schizophrenic, this is guitar-driven rock'n'roll delivered with conviction, swagger and, above all, attitude.
