2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents White Rabbit Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre Studio Theatre. White Rabbit Red Rabbit begins on May 30 and runs through July 1. BWW Review: GLORIA at Dee And Charles Wyly Theatre
Trauma, in all of its forms and embodiments, can affect all of us in a variety of ways. Gloria by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, a finalist for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and nominated for the 2016 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play, which opened on Wednesday December 7th at the Dallas Theater Center, explores that unique response to trauma to each individual, and how our experiences affect us moving forward. Gloria is a play about perspectives and stories and who owns those stories. Who has the right to tell them? This dark, dramatic comedy shocks the audience into introspection about life, mental health, and the way we treat each other as a society.

Alley Theatre, which is readying its production of All the Way, the Tony Award-winning play about President Lyndon Baines Johnson, has announced that actor James Black has had to withdraw from the production in order to undergo medical treatment. Actor Brandon Potter will take over the role of LBJ and all performances will continue as scheduled. Mr. Black is expected to fully recover.
