BIO

LeVane is a NYC based performer and hip hop artist, originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. LeVane attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC and has since been appearing in many regional productions, including the World Premiere of For Colored Boyz at the Fulton Theatre. LeVane is represented by Tiera Ashley of Firestarter Entertainment.

What did our critic think of BANDSTAND at Playhouse On Park? The multi-award winning Broadway musical Bandstand has arrived at Playhouse on Park with bells on (That pun is for the horn section.) With music by Richard Oberacker and book and lyrics by Oberacker and Robert Taylor,  Bandstand is set just after the end of World War II. It tells the story about a group of six veterans and a war widow who struggle to cope and find their way back to normal lives. Battling survivor’s guilt, amongst other excruciating mental and physical ailments, they turn to music and form a band with the goal of winning a national song contest.

BWW Review: CABARET at The Argyle Theatre

Between college productions and the many local theatres on Long Island, it may seem there is always a production of the Kander and Ebb classic Cabaret running. However, when you have a wonderful production like the one at the Argyle Theatre, it indeed warrants another look.
