Producers Harriet Newman Leve, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner have announced a 2020 Broadway bound production of Last Summer at Bluefish Cove.
Photo Coverage: First look at Evolution Theatre Company's WHO KILLED JOAN CRAWFORD?

In Michael Leeds new murder-mystery comedy, on a dark stormy night, five men arrive at a cabin for a famous soap star's surprise birthday party. Each guest has been asked to dress as the birthday boy's favorite actress, Joan Crawford, in one of her signature roles - and the results aren't pretty, in more ways than one. As they wait for the star, the five 'Joans' begin drinking and dishing, soon dark secrets emerge and then there's one less Joan ... and then there are four…then three…then…? All this leads to a shocking and unforeseen ending. Featuring: David Bahgat as Gene Harlow, Frank Barnhart as Harvey Goldberg, Ralph Scott as Stewart Fry, David Allen Vargo as Leo Lawrence, Lane Schlicher as David Hoch, Stewart Jamison as Trick Rogers. Performances are August 21st thru the 31st, 2019 at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. For tickets, visit: http://www.evolutiontheatre.org/
BWW Review: Michael Urie and Mercedes Ruehl Bring Harvey Fierstein's Groundbreaking TORCH SONG Back To Broadway

The play is no longer titled TORCH SONG TRILOGY and the venue is no longer known as The Little Theatre, but there's still a marvelous homecoming taking place at The Helen Hayes, where Second Stage's recent Off-Broadway revival of Harvey Fierstein's groundbreaking TORCH SONG has transferred to the home of its historic original Broadway run.
BWW Review: Michael Urie and Mercedes Ruehl Sing Out Triumphantly in Harvey Fierstein's TORCH SONG

'We opened for an eight-week limited engagement and could not give a ticket away for three weeks.' That's how Harvey Fierstein described the giant leap of faith that, in 1981, brought a trio of his one-act plays that had each premiered separately on East 4th Street at the basement of Ellen Stewart's La MaMa, E.T.C., to an Off-Off-Broadway mounting on West 62nd Street, produced by John Glines' non-profit company, The Glines.
