THE WINTER'S TALE is Coming to the Hilberry Stage
The Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance at Wayne will bring one of William Shakespeare's lesser known works, 'The Winter's Tale', to the Hilberry Stage this February. Directed by Lavinia Hart this poignant winter romance ushers in warmer weather February 7 to 23, 2020 on stage at the Hilberry Theatre. William Shakespeare's As You Like It treads the boards at the Hilberry Theatre beginning Friday, Oct.26 and running through Nov. 11. Directed by Lavinia Hart and set in present day Appalachia, this hilariously subversive comedy allows audiences to view this classic story through a creative lens that transports you to the hills of Tennessee.

Theatre and Dance at Wayne continues its 2016 - 17 season with the adventurous Alice in Wonderland at the Bonstelle Theatre running October 7 - 16 . Based on Lewis Carroll's classic children's book , this energetic production follows a young girl named Alice , as she falls down a rabbit hole and embarks on a bizarre and extraordinary journey to discover her true identity.
INSPECTING CAROL Opens 12/4 at Hilberry Theatre
The Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance continues its 2015-16 season on December 4th at the Hilberry Theatre with Inspecting Carol. Step right in to the holiday season with all its merriment, festivities, stress and joy. At the theatre, there's no better story to set the tone for this part of the year than the well-loved Christmas Carol. Charles Dickens' words come alive onstage for generations of thespians and patrons year after year.
