CATS is Officially Aiming for Broadway Return in 2016; Fall or Spring?
The return to London of CATS has been considered a big hit, with the show extending multiple times, and already planning a limited run return for next year. Currently starring in the UK production is Kerry Ellis, through the end of April. Now it sounds like we'll be seeing the Jellicle Ball back on Broadway next year!
Kerry Ellis to Join UK's CATS; Extends to April 25
Due to extraordinary public demand, Andrew Lloyd Webber's record breaking Cats today announces the release of over 100,000 new tickets for sale. Now booking at the London Palladium to 25 April 2015, tickets for Cats are from £20 with top price seats at £59.50 and children's tickets at half price for Monday to Thursdayperformances (see listings information below).

On joining the West End production of Cats, Nicole Scherzinger said: 'I am really thrilled to be making my West End debut in such an iconic show and I couldn't be more excited. I grew up listening to Andrew's extraordinary music and was lucky enough, a couple of years ago, to record Cats' beautiful song Memory. Along with previously announced Michael Ball, also starring in the U.K. Tour of Hairspray will be Laurie Scarth, Liam Doyle, and Danny Bayne. The tour begins at the Cardriff Millenium Centre and will begin March 30th, immediately following its West End closing. The tour is scheduled to run through January 2011 with stops in Glasgow, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Manchester, Plymouth, Liverpool, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Birmingham, Bradford and Edinburgh.
