The Kelsey Theatre and Kelsey Forward Initiative will present an all youth cast between the ages of 11 and 17 in Raise Your Voice Jr, a brand-new revue featuring songs from across MTI's Broadway Junior collection. It's 1482 Paris and life is dark and difficult. The gypsies who occupy the edges of society are in a constant struggle with city officials and the soldiers charged with protecting the citizenry. Thus begins The Hunchback of Notre Dame, an epic tale set to a sweeping musical score, to be presented by The Pennington Players at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Todays, Oct. 20 and 27 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Oct. 21 and 28 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Oct. 22 and 29 at 2 p.m.

CATS to Play MCCC's Kelsey Theatre in March
"Cats," Andrew Lloyd Webber's magical musical homage to the feline world, comes to Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre in March. Playful Theatre Productions will present nine performances over three weekends, including four matinees. Dates and show times for evening performances are: Fridays, March 13 and 27 at 8 p.m., and Saturdays, March 14, 21 and 28 at 8 p.m. Matinees will be presented on Sunday, March 15, Saturday, March 21, Sunday, March 22 and Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. An opening night reception with the cast and crew follows the March 13 performance.

Dates and times for this special family event are: Fridays, May 30 and June 6 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 31 and June 7 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sundays, June 1 and 8 at 2 p.m. A reception with the cast and crew will follow the opening night performance on May 30.

MCCC's Kelsey Theatre Wins Eight 2011-12 Perry Awards
It was a banner night for theater companies that perform at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. After being nominated for 27 Perry Awards by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT) for shows performed during the 2011-12 season, the groups were awarded eight Perry Awards at a ceremony held on Sept. 9.
