As an actor: Lauren has performed from H.E.R.E. to the Kennedy Center. Favorite roles include Joan in Elaine May's The Way of All Fish, Jill in Butterflies Are Free, and Lala in The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Other appearances include Caryl Churchill's The Skriker (Kennedy Center) Tango 'Till They're Sore (The Flea Theater), and Keanu Reeves Saves the Universe (P.I.T.). Film & TV credits include The Following (Fox), Ten Thousand Saints (Ethan Hawke), As They Made Us (Candice Bergen) the mockumentary The Royal We, and being famously cut as Gilda Radner from Chapter 27,

As a writer: Lauren wrote the one-act The Onion: First Dates, which was mounted as part of The Southern Slam Festival at the Warehouse Theater, SC, (published in The Louisville Review) which she also appeared in. Lauren is currently working on a full-length play about George Burns and Gracie Allen, The Raconteurs: A Story of George Burns & Gracie Allen (Semifinalist The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center Playwrights Conference, Semifinalist Heiress Production, finalist The Orlando Shakespeare Playfest & Webroadway Competition), and recently appeared in an industry reading of act one, as Gracie Allen. Lauren is also a published essayist on Burns & Allen (for the New England Vintage Film Soc) and has also written articles and essays for Collider & TRAVALANCHE on comedy & pop culture.
Podcasting: Currently, Lauren is the co-host of & FYI: The Murphy Brown Podcast & Previously of Fordcast: A Harrison Ford Podcast. Both can be found on iTunes, Google Play, Sound Cloud, Stitcher Radio, & wherever you listen to podcasts. She has interviewed artists such as Emmy Winner Richard Schiff (The West Wing), The Cast/Writers of Murphy Brown, & alumni from both Marvel to Lucas Films.
