The groundbreaking musical was nominated for twelve Tony Awards, winning nine, and took home the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Forty-three years later, it remains a classic for elevating the nameless boys and girls who toil on the line to marquee status. ?Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit professional theatre company, which will be opening its summer season this week, is proud to announce that it will host a Master Class focusing on Fosse-style theatrical dance. The class will be taught by Lauren Gemelli, who comes directly to OSTC from the National Tour of Chicago. Ms. Gemelli will be portraying the role of Lola in OSTC's summer opener, Damn Yankees, which opens in previews on Wednesday, July 6.
