Hailing from Houston, Texas, Laurel was born into a family of artists and musicians, planting her in the perfect place to cultivate a love for and drive to create music. A graduate of West Texas A&M University with a BA in Music Theatre, Minor in Dance Performance, Laurel spent the last several years performing in Orlando, FL before moving back home due to the pandemic
Her favorite credits include Paradice (Brooklyn the Musical) for which she received the 2017 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) National Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Musical, Morticia Addams (The Addams Family Musical), Thyona (Big Love), The Witch (Into The Woods), JoAnne (RENT), Magenta (Rocky Horror Show) and The Drowsy Chaperone (The Drowsy Chaperone).
