Laura Maitland

LAURA MAITLAND (Danielle) holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Melbourne, and trained at the Victorian College of the Arts. Now a U.S. Permanent Resident, she is proud to be working with the Going Once, Laughing Twice cast in her Off-Broadway (and U.S.!) debut. In Australia, she has had leading stage roles in Romeo & Juliet, The Lonesome West, The Motion of Light in Water, Attempts on Her Life, Melburnalia, Europe, Tabula Rasa, Rhinoceros, RSVP, Mirror, Mirror, Segue and Smudged. Overseas, she has had leading roles in Yes, Prime Minister and Macbeth ReArisen. Screen roles include The Doctor Blake Mysteries (ABC/BBC), Underbellly: Squizzy and Neighbours in Australia, and Little Green Men in the U.S. Laura is a proud member of The Kin Collective, whose debut production Glimpse she directed in Melbourne in 2012.
