Dancers Over 40 continues its 25th Anniversary season with the 10th Annual Legacy Awards and Holiday Dinner Monday, December 10, 2018. This celebration honoring our very own members will be held at LIPS Restaurant, 227 East 56th Street 6 – 9pm and hosted by Drama Desk Award Winner Jim Brochu. There will be guest speakers and performances by entertainer/activist and member of the NYC Nightlife Advisory Board Marti Gould Cummings, along with the always wonderfully delicious full-course meal.

Tony Award-winners Chita Rivera and Karen Ziemba, Norman Norman Jewison, Academy Award-winning director of the 1971 film version of Fiddler on the Roof (Irving Thalberg Award Recipient), and Ambassador Ido Aharoni, Counsul General of Israel, have joined the lineup of Raising the Roof, an all-star benefit concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene, the 50th Anniversary of iconic American musical, Fiddler on the Roof, and the 90th birthday of its Pulitzer Prize- and Tony-winning lyricist, Sheldon Harnick, on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at New York's The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street).

MACA To Sponsor Madison Artist Studio Tour 6/13

On Sunday, June 13, 2010 the Madison Arts and Culture Alliance (MACA) will sponsor the 'Madison Artist Studio Tour.' This event will take place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, rain or shine. Twenty-four artists, photographers and fine craftspeople who live and/or work in Madison will be participating in this event. The Madison Artist Studio Tour, organized to introduce and promote the visual artists in the borough, will feature the participating artists' work either in their studios or in exhibition spaces throughout the Rose City.
