Winners Announced For 'Mercer County Artists 2019' At MCCC Gallery

A recent Mercer County Community College alumnus took home the coveted Best in Show award as 36 artists from throughout the county displayed their creations during the opening reception of the Mercer County Artists 2019 show at The Gallery at Mercer.

The talents of 36 Mercer County artists will be on display at the Gallery at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) in 'Mercer County Artists 2019,' which opens Monday, May 20 and runs through Monday, July 8. The Gallery at Mercer is located on the second floor of the Communications Building on Mercer's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
Mercer County Artists Award Winners Announced

The arts community was out in force on Feb. 22 for the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony for "Mercer County Artists 2017," now on display at the Gallery at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) through March 23. The Gallery at Mercer is located on the second floor of the Communications Building on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.  (The gallery is closed during Spring Break, March 13 to 19.)

The exhibit is on display through February 27 at the Gallery at Mercer County Community College (MCCC), located on the second floor of the Communications Building on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

The local arts community had a chance to meet, greet and enjoy the diverse, colorful and often poignant works of fellow artists at an Awards Reception for “Mercer County Artists 2014” on March 13. The exhibit is on display at the Gallery at Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor, through April 3. It features 96 works by 75 artists and includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, as well as mixed media collages and sculptures in clay, found art, and recycled materials. 'LEFT OF CENTRAL: Later 20th Century Visual Arts in the Capital City' Comes to MCCC Gallery, 1/21-2/20

The Gallery at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) hosts “Left of Central: Later 20th Century Visual Arts in the Capital City,” an exhibit featuring works by pioneering artists from the Trenton Artists Workshop Association (TAWA). The exhibit runs from Tuesday, Jan. 21 to Thursday, Feb. 20. An opening reception takes place on Saturday, Jan. 25 from noon to 2 p.m. A panel discussion and conversation about the Visual Arts Trenton from 1979 to 1999 will be held Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.

Artistic vision comes in all colors, shapes and sizes at the Mercer County Artists exhibit now on display at the Gallery at Mercer County Community College through April 4. One-hundred-seven works by 88 artists include paintings in oils, acrylics and watercolors, as well as sculptures and mixed media collages. The Gallery at Mercer County Community College announced the award winners for 'Mercer County Artists 2011' at an Opening Reception Mar. 9. The exhibit, which runs through April 7, features 120 works by 95 artists who live, work or study in Mercer County. The pieces were selected from 240 entries by this year's juror, Janet Hunt, the owner and director of Coryell Gallery, located in Lambertville. Hunt has been a key figure in the arts community of central New Jersey for decades.
